On October 22 , 2014 ICOMOS Georgia organised a presentation of the draft of National Policy of Heritage Sector in Georgia . The event was held at George Chubinashvili Research Center for Georgian Art history and Heritage Preservation . The event was organised within the Framework of the project "Regional Cooperation for the Cultural Heritage development", funded by the European Union within the Eastern Partnership Culture program me.

On April 10-11th ICOMOS Georgia hosted the 9th international Capacity building workshop held in Tbilisi within the project Regional Co-operation for Cultural Heritage Development funded by the European Union. The first day of the workshop was facilitated by Mr. Jon Brænne, paintings conservator and research scientist from Norway, who presented series of case studies about wooden architecture conservation and the use of linseed oil paints in conservation. Second day of the event was dedicated to field work, participants of the workshop from Armenia and Georgia visited restoration sites, on Machabeli str # 17 and Tbilisi Synagogue (D. Baazov Museum of Ethnography and History of Jews of Georgia). The workshop was concluded in Betlemi Quarter Information Center with two further presentations and concluding brainstorming session on the training needs in traditional skills of conservation for the region.

ICOMOS Georgia launch series of presentation of a practical manual for secondary school teachers - Introducing Young People protection and Management of Heritage Sites and Historic Cities. The publication has been prepared within the EaP Culture Programme project: Regional Cooperation for Cultural Heritage Development. On 27.02.2014 first presentation of the draft publication for the major stakeholders: school teachers and representatives of educational sector will be held at the Tbilisi 1st Classical Gymnasium

On 16-17th of July, 2013 International Workshop: "Project Management– Cross-sectorial Collaboration " was held in Tbilisi. It was the 5th workshop in the series of Capacity Building events envisaged within the framework of the project Regional Co-operation for Cultural Heritage Development funded by the European Union

On 8 July, 2013 presentation of the draft recommendations on management of Cultural Heritage in Georgia, being elaborated within activity 1.1. – Development of National Policy for heritage in Georgia of RCCHD programme, was held at the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.

In the framework of the EC funded project "Regional Cooperation for Cultural Heritage Development” (Activity 4.) a pess-conference – Mtskheta World Heritage in Danger - was held on 11.04.2013 by ICOMOS Georgia.

A group of stakeholders from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Norway, and Ukraine with experience planning, implementing and analyzing cultural heritage policies on different levels, had gathered in Tbilisi. The purpose of the Workshop was to exchange experience accumulated in each country, to share best practices as well problems related to the workshop topic, and finally, to strengthen professional links within the EaP region and Europe.

During this workshop, heritage professionals from different countries have discussed conservation management issues and solutions.

on October 27, a press conference which summed the results of thematic seminars was held held in ‘’Erebuni’’ museum for a month. The seminars addressed to the 3 target groups: schoolchildren, teachers , representatives of local government were aimed to the capacity building.

On September 27, 2012, “Erebuni” Historical & Archaeological Museum-Reserve, in the framework of the "Regional Cooperation for Culture Heritage Development" project, hosted 15 schoolchildren from art schools N 1 after G.Saryan, N 17 after B.Kanachyan and from state Art college after P.Terlemezyan.

1st International Capacity Building Workshop “Heritage for Community” is planned to take place in Tbilisi during September 18-20th, 2012.
