Development of national policy  for heritage in Georgia
	Development of the national policies by local and European  experts will focus on the analysis of the management systems, administrative  structures and operating modes, legislative basis and institutional framework  of the heritage preservation sector and level of its integration in an overall national  development strategy within Georgia. Comparative analysis of best practices  will be used. Draft National Policy for Cultural Heritage in Georgia will be  produced.
	This activity will be undertaken closely with the Ministry of Culture  and Monuments’ Protection of Georgia. Apart from the regular working meetings  with the specific stakeholder groups, information sessions on the project  progress will be held for key stakeholders after each stage of the national  policy elaboration process. At the end of the activity a bilingual (Georgian  and English) document – “Draft National Policy for Cultural Heritage in  Georgia” will be published.
