The workshop is organized within the project – Regional Co-operation for Cultural Heritage Development implemented within the Eastern Partnership Culture Programme by ICOMOS Georgia and its partners: ICOMOS Armenia, “Arkhitektura I Prestize”(Ukraine) and Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Norway/Riksantikvaren.

The workshop will have participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Norway and Ukraine, each of whom has experience in management and planning of public participation at different levels in heritage sector. Together they will discuss importance of public involvement and exchange information and experience accumulated in each other’s countries, define tools and mechanisms for activation of societal role in the heritage sector. Part of the workshop will be open for wider public. Programme of the workshop will be published next week.
