The Georgian National Museum Auditorium will host a public lecture, " IDEOLOGY AND PRESERVATION OF RUINS ON THE ACROPOLIS AT ATHENS" by Mrs. Lena Lambrinou, Architect-Archaeologist, Parthenon Restoration Project, Service for the Acropolis Monuments Restoration, Greek Ministry of Education & Culture The lecture will discuss the history of restoration at the Acropolis as implemented by the Service for the Acropolis Monument Preservation.

This lecture is a part of the 4th International Capacity-Building Seminar - "Conservation of Archaeological Sites, with special reference to the Restoration of Acropolis, Athens", presented by the " Regional Co-operation for Cultural Heritage Development". The 2 days Seminars will have participants – young professionals from: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine. Due to the significance and universal value the sites, the first lecture on 30.05.2113 will be public and admission is free.
